Foundation, PR Firm To Empower Young Women

A social enterprise, E-Circle Foundation and Sesema Public Relations, a marketing communication firm, have partnered to empower young women with the information, skills and tools in business.
A statement on Tuesday stated that the project would equip them with the necessary tools to take on the diverse challenges evident in their organisations, businesses and ultimately the society through the establishment of timeless principles, values and systems.
It says the project tagged ‘Esther in the marketplace,’ will inspire personal responsibility and development amongst young women.
As part of the project, the organisation said that an event themed, ‘Breaking the limit,’ for undergraduates, early graduates and youth corps members would be held in University of Lagos, Akoka while another one targeting entry level staff, mid and senior management women, called the Esther Code 2 event, would be held in Lekki.
The Chief Executive Officer, E-Circle Foundation, Chioma George-Ekehon, said, “In line with the ever-increasing need for the development of the human capital and recognising the lean opportunities available to the female gender, we have provided these resources, tools and activities to enable female individuals to identify, develop and deploy their potential effectively for personal, organisational and societal development”.
“This has further driven E-Circle Foundation to strategically design seminars, capacity development trainings, support systems and projects to achieve these goals,” she added.
