Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, is a Nigerian record producer, singer, songwriter and entrepreneur. Founder/CEO of Mavins Records. Ajereh showed interest in music early in life and at age 12, began to play the bass guitar. Invited by his uncle to London to play drums, Ajereh did many menial jobs to survive and support his passion including working at McDonald’s and as a security guard.
From a humble beginning in Ajegunle a suburb in Lagos, he rose to become a successful producer and entrepreneur in the entertainment industry and has worked with global brands like “Very Good Beatz” owned by Kanye West. He has produced and discovered many Hit artists like D’banj, Tiwa Savage, and Hit songs like Dorobuchi, Eminado, Oma Ga, Take Banana and Chocolate, YOLO and the anthem I’m a MAVIN.
Don Jazzy is the current richest music producer in Nigeria and Africa who is worth $18.5 million. Don Jazzy has many investments aside his musical career which fetches him cash. He is a co-founder of Flobyt, a popular tech firm providing free WI-FI Service to users for downloading and streaming media content. Some of the endorsement deals Don Jazzy is signed to include: being a brand ambassador of Samsung Mobile, Loya milk, Johnnie Walker, etc.
